Like the CarChipE/X software, our Fleet Management Software, which is designed for use with the CarChip Fleet data logger, allows the charting and graphing of user-selectable engine parameters. It also includes both a trouble log (with diagnostic trouble codes and "freeze frame" sensor readings) and an accident log (showing the last critical twenty seconds of speed).

With CarChip Fleet and our Fleet Management Software, though, you’ll also get additional reporting capabilities specifically designed to meet the needs of fleet managers. You can easily sort data and create reports according to selected criteria; track and compare drivers and vehicles by fleet, group or location; and summarize data by selected date range—day, week, month, or longer. ODBC-compliant design (Open Database Connectivity) means you can use your preferred database platform, whether it’s Microsoft Access, MySQL, Oracle 9i, or another.

• Usage Report shows mileage driven, average monthly mileage, and weekend and nighttime driving by employee.

• Driver Performance Report shows summarized data for each driver, including individual "safety scores." Software lets you determine the weighting of each factor.

• Excessive Speed Report is just one of the many exception reports available. Reports are easily customizable: select the date range you wish to view, the selection criteria, and the sort-by.
